During our visit, we met a young girl who was soon to be married. From the collection of clothes we had brought, we carefully selected two beautiful lehengas for her, along with a few garments for her family members as well. The moment we handed over the clothes, her eyes lit up with joy and gratitude. Her family was deeply moved by the gesture, expressing their heartfelt appreciation with warm smiles and emotional words. It was a touching experience to witness their happiness, reminding us how even small acts of kindness can create lasting memories and bring immense comfort during life’s special occasions.

Lucknow
A man named Dinesh works at a factory in Lucknow as a contractual labour. He injured his hand and couldn't work for 2 months. He also couldn't do farming in the small plot of land he owned due to that injury. He has 5 daughters to raise and he is the only member of his family. For 2 months he sustained on his savings as he couldn't work. The clothes that BlueCottons gave brought a smile to his face and eventually to his daughters. We are sure that these clothes would grace an upcoming occasion in his family.
Both these girls are getting married in a few months. As a tradition in India, the bride's family usually gives 11 or 21 clothes to her before she leaves her parental house to go and live with her in laws. These girls come from financially weaker backgrounds. BlueCottons gave them good clothes like lehengas and sarees to help save them money for their weddings.
